Donald Trump in Mexico, remember what he said?

Trump is about to do a balancing act as he meets Mexico President Enrique Peña Nieto. Many speculations are going as to what exactly will be in his immigration speech. Guardian’s Ben Jacob’s wrote

At almost every rally, Trump pledges that he will “build a wall and make Mexico pay for it”, but he has rarely gone into more detail.

But, facing a general election where he has major deficits in the polls and is reviled by Latino voters, the Republican nominee has begun what he called a rhetorical “softening” in recent weeks, raising questions about whether he was ever sincere in his hard-line stance.

In the past week and a half, Trump seemingly endorsed a path to legal status for undocumented immigrants in an interview with Fox News’s Sean Hannity, only to reverse himself in an interview with CNN’s Anderson Cooper. The back and forth prompted conservative talk radio show host Rush Limbaugh to admit, “I never took him seriously” on immigration.

Just a day before the speech former president Vicente Fox ranted calling his visit as “opportunistic” and a “political stunt” while also apologizing on behalf of the country for Peña’s invitation.  In an interview with CNN he said

“Trump is using Mexico, is using President Peña to push his sinking poll numbers, he will even be considered like a traitor because we don’t accept to be offended, I think this is a big mistake on the part of President Peña. I mean, you cannot lie to people. You cannot take advantage of people all the time like he’s doing. And you cannot cheat people. You have to be straight. You have to speak the truth. This is what he has done none at all. So it’s a very opportunistic move and I hope U.S. public opinion, U.S. citizens can see this and finally, and finally see what is behind Trump, this false prophet that is just cheating everybody,It’s a desperate move and I don’t see how it can work at all. I don’t understand what’s going on here, and I really apologize for our president taking this step forward,I really expect from him, as all 130 million Mexicans, all of our great brother Mexicans in the United States, an explanation from both, from President Peña and Trump himself.”

It will be interesting to see if Donald Trump will change his rhetoric which he has said before. To refresh your memory we have collected all the tweets from his account about things he has said about Mexico.

and of course how can we forget, the most important one

Though, when making the announcement on his twitter account he didn’t give any hint if he will go forward with his rhetoric it will be interesting to see nevertheless.

On twitther #TrumpsMexicoTripSayings is already trending and we expect it to become a top tweet as soon as the speech is delivered. What do you think, what is your guess? Leave your thoughts in the comments.
